With a qualification in Plastic Technology and an MBA, he began his career in 1986, when India had only one ISBM machine — giving him a front-row opportunity to witness and contribute to the evolution of India's ISBM and PET packaging industry from its formative years. Worked with PEARLPET, SUNPET and MANJUSHREE (ALTERNICQ).

His career has been shaped by the powerful convergence of technology, innovation, execution and business results. Over four decades, he has led complex technical initiatives, transformed ideas into commercially successful packaging solutions, driven operational and manufacturing excellence, overcome challenging technical issues, and developed strong technical capabilities within organisations.
